Awarded with Premio Maestri Comacini 2012 - Distinction
The building is located in the historical center of Canzo, on the road from Milan to Bellagio. The project provides office spaces on the ground floor and three apartments on the upper floors. The existing facades have undergone minimal transformations, while the overall circulation has been totally transformed. Throughout the intervention we privileged the economy of means. The project was awarded with the Prize Maestri Comacini 2012, in the category Renovation of existing buildings. The jury quoted: the intervention is characterized by a certain experimentation and a sense of beauty of the imperfection.
