The School of Art of Construction is meant to be built in the outskirts of Como. The new center consists of two buildings: the Classroom Building with offices and classrooms, and the Construction Building with laboratories for practical activities. The shifted composition of the volumes defines two external areas: the entrance garden and the area for open-air activities. The Classroom Building is thermically insulated and consists of a thin bone structure sustained by prefabricated cross-shape columns, while the glass facade is protected by movable metal sheds. The Construction Building is a cold container where one could learn how to build.
